Even with low current consumption of 25 uA typ., it has high ripple-rejection of 75 dB typ., and ceramic capacitor of 1.0 uF or more can be used as the input and output capacitor.

      <description><![CDATA[The S-13A1 Series is a positive voltage regulator with a low dropout voltage, high output voltage accuracy, and low currentconsumption developed based on CMOS technology.
A 2.2 μF small ceramic capacitor can be used, and the very small dropout voltage and the large output current due to the built-in transistor with low on-resistance are provided. The S-13A1 Series includes a load current protection circuit that prevents the output current from exceeding the current capacitance of the output transistor and a thermal shutdown circuit that prevents damage due to overheating. In addition to the types in which output voltage is set inside the IC, a type for which output voltage can be set via an external resistor is added to a lineup. Also, the S-13A1 Series includes an inrush current limit circuit to limit the excess inrush current at power-on and at turn-on the ON / OFF pin. High heat radiation HSOP-6 and small SOT-89-5, HSNT-6A packages realize high-density mounting. ]]></description>

The output inverts when temperature reaches the detection temperature. The S-5844A Series restores the output voltage when the temperature drops to the level of release temperature.
The S-5844A Series operates at the lower power supply voltage of 1.65 V and its current consumption is 0.18 µA typ. due to CMOS configuration.

      <description><![CDATA[<FONT color=#ff0000>•Please contact </FONT><a href="http://www.sii.co.jp/components/compo_admin/office.jsp">our sales office</a><FONT color=#ff0000> if you request the data sheet.<br/></FONT>The S-8412A Series is a programmable VCOM adjustment buffer designed for use in TFT liquid crystal displays.<br/>The S-8412A Series adjusts VCOM by using an external interface, simplifying a procedure that previously had to be performed manually.<br/>With its built-in multiple time programmable (MTP) memory, the S-8412A Series can record the optimum VCOM voltage level determined in the adjustment process. The MTP memory allows data required for manufacturing to be rewritable for up to 48 times, enabling display panels to be calibrated flexibly. <br/>Recorded data is automatically loaded when the power is turned on, letting the user obtain the optimum VCOM voltage level without having to input a command after completing the adjustment process.<br/>The S-8412A Series also includes an I<SUp>2</SUp>C-bus interface, which is used by devices such as E<SUp>2</SUp>PROM. This interface uses the I<SUp>2</SUp>C bus in the LCD panel’s connector, eliminating the need to add a connector terminal to the panel.<br/>The S-8412A Series is housed in a small and thin PLP-10A package, and can therefore be easily mounted in panels that provide only a small mounting area.]]></description>

The release signal can be delayed by setting a capacitor externally. Delay time accuracy is ±15%. Two output forms Nch open drain and CMOS output are available.

      <description><![CDATA[The S-5843A Series is a temperature switch IC which detects the temperature with a temperature accuracy of ±2.5℃. The output inverts when temperature reaches the detection temperature. This IC restores the output voltage when the temperature drops to the level of release temperature.
The S-5843A Series operates at the lower power supply voltage of 1.65 V and its current consumption is 4.5 µA typ. due to CMOS configuration.

      <description><![CDATA[S-11L10 Series, developed using the CMOS technology, is a positive voltage regulator IC which has the low output voltage, the high-accuracy output voltage and the low current consumption (150 mA output current).
A 1.0 µF small ceramic capacitor can be used. It operates with low current consumption of 9 µA typ.
The overcurrent protection circuit prevents the load current from exceeding the capacitance of output transistor. The power-off circuit ensures longer battery life.
Various capacitors, also small ceramic capacitors, can be used for this IC more than for the conventional regulator ICs which have CMOS technology.
Furthermore a small SOT-23-5 and SNT-6A(H) packages realize high-density mounting. ]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[The S-8365/8366 Series is a CMOS step-up switching regulator controller which mainly consists of a reference voltage source, an oscillation circuit, an error amplifier, a phase compensation circuit, a timer latch short-circuit protection circuit, a PWM control circuit (S-8365 Series) and a PWM / PFM switching control circuit (S-8366 Series). 
With an external low-ON-resistance Nch Power MOS, this product is ideal for applications requiring high efficiency and a high output current.
The S-8365 Series efficiently works on voltage's condition of large I/O difference due to the PWM control circuit linearly varies the duty ratio to 90%.

      <description><![CDATA[The S-8550/8551 Series is a CMOS synchronous rectification step-down switching regulator which mainly consists of a reference voltage circuit, an oscillator, an error amplifier, a phase compensation circuit, a PWM controller, an under voltage lockout circuit (UVLO), a current limit circuit, and a power MOS FET. The oscillation frequency is high at 1.2 MHz, so a high efficiency, large output current, step-down switching regulator can be achieved by using small external parts.
The built-in synchronous rectification circuit makes achieving high efficiency easier compared with conventional step-down switching regulators. Seiko Instruments Inc. is set to release a new step-down synchronous PWM- control switching regulator with built in FET. The new S-8550/8551 Series with it's ultra-small size is optimized for use in portable equipment..  
 
 Step-down switching regulators can efficiently regulate the high voltage of a battery to lower voltages required by different components within portable electronic equipment. This is achieved through PWM-control by storing the electric charge generated in the circuits' coil after repeating ON and OFF switch of the capacitor. For example, the battery voltage of 3.6V (one lithium ion battery) can be stepped down to 1.8V or 2.5V with high efficiency for use in mobile phones, GPS, and other battery operated equipment. 
The demand for miniaturization, low current consumption, and high efficiency is increasing in order to support the power requirements of cellular phones, MP3 players, and other battery operated equipment. Even if the load current changes rapidly, the output voltage must respond at high speed (high-speed load response characteristic) to assure a stable power supply. As the miniaturization of consumer products increases, the need for decreasing the number of external components in a circuit is of high importance. 
In order to satisfy such demands, SII developed the "S-8550/8551 series."
